I have been asked many times by Social Security System (SSS) Philippines members regarding the SSS online inquiry. If I sum up all their questions, I would end up in a single question and that is why is the government Social Security System online inquiry so hard to understand for a simple member of the SSS?
First, I personally think that the SSS official website itself is not as user-friendly as it should be and not even designed so that members won't have a hard time to find what they are looking for. Second, I think it's about time that the government should spend some more extra money in making a new design that would present visitors (usually SSS members) a search engine friendly URL. That which is easier to understand and memorize for all remembers. The conventional design is already obsolete and should be replaced.
Second, there should be a good enough and qualified webmaster who will handle all the affairs of all government websites to make the necessary changes and make them all SEO-friendly, search engine-friendly and user-friendly. Also the webmaster can help make it easier for all users and visitors by analyzing problems from the server side to the hardware side. This way, "DOWNTIME CAN BE MINIMIZED" if not totally removed because this is the number 1 cause of anger of members. Time is gold and users and visitors grow weary of trying to log in while the website itself is not available due to server problems. There should be proper announcement when the server will be under maintenance or down and when will it resume so members know when to come back for their online inquiry.
Third, the government should use the money of the members in providing the best service that the SSS official website can give. Members don't need loan information if they are not available online because the website is not available, moreso, payment via online would not work at all if the website itself is having server problems. This is a suggestion to the authorities to help make SSS service more reliable and user-friendly. We need our money to work for us and not for anyone else, after all, it's our money. - Concern SSS Member

TRUE.... I AGREE... FOR ME MUCH BETTER PA YUN OLD SSS WEBSITE, VERY FRIENDLY AND EASY TO USE.
FOR SSS CONTRIBUTION YOU JUST NEED TO ENTER YOUR SSS NO. AND BITRHDATE THEN THATS IT!!! NOW ITS DIFFICULT, YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER FIRST, BUT AFTER YOU FILL UP ALL INFO NEEDED IT GOES TO APPLICATION FORM AGAIN & AGAIN!!!
The SSS people would always want the online inquiry system down so as members will not have acces to update their contributions and that members will not know that they are not doing their job.
THE SYSTEM OF SSS SYSTEM SUCKS! IM HAVING DIFFICULTIES IN INQUIRING MY CONTRIBUTION, I TRIED TO REGISTER BUT IT WONT WORK. WHY IS IT THAT SSS CANNOT MAKE IT SIMPLE TO THE MEMBER TO ACCESS YOUR SYSTEM? I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF MY CONTRIBUTION REALLY GOES DIRECT TO MY ACCT. I WANT TO SEE YOUR TRANSPARENCY TO ALL YOUR MEMBERS. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE MORE CHANGES IN YOUR COMPLICATED SYSTEM.
same here, i tried the new 'inquiry' system, register-password but after registering i can not get through or locked out message...
how do i fix it? call the sss office, well i think theres 10 numbers and all of them are busy(pfft..government office eh..puro telebabad)
cguro sinadya nyo tlagang bagihin ung system para hindi makita ng mga member ung contribution, pra sbihin nyo na walang pera ang sss, pero ang totoo nsa bulsa na pla. hindi na kayo nag-bago mukha na kayong pagawa-an ng pera.
i registered as well and it was noted that an email confirmation was sent. I've been checking my email but there's no confirmation :( i must agree that SSS is making it hard for everyone...
i just want to know my loan kc may utang aq gusto kung bayaran kaso ang hirap nman mag register sa online nyo pra s mga member. sana hindi na complicated masyado ung pag log-in, madami p kc hinihingi n info b4 k makapagregister log-in, katulad q wala aq nung RS5 number n hinihingi kc employer q nman dati ung nagbabayad sken s SSS.

oo mas madali po yung old system na ginawa ninyo kaysa sa ngayon hindi ko na mag access ang account ko please naman po do something we need this transaction para malaman naman po namin kung up to date yung hulog ng mga employer sa SSS namin
wen you apply for sss what are the requirements needed?
nag apply po ako nang sss ID card last jan.8, 2010 at sabi nang taGA sss 6 months ko daw balikan aking card, after 6 months bumalik po ako sa sss para i claim aking sss ID PERO SABI nang customer service nang sss wala pa daw ma print ang mga ID kasi last oct 2009 pa sira ang printer. sa mga sss offocial bakit ganito ang services nang inyong agency? NIloloko nyo ba ang mga sss member? naghirap po kami sa pag pila just to secure those sss ID at nbagbayad pa kami sa printing pagdating nang 6 month sabihan lang kami na sira ang printer.hoy gumising na po kayo mga empleyado nang sss.

matagal na po ako nagfile ng request for date of coverage ko last 10/11/2009 hanggang ngayon wala pa rin action kelan po kaya maayos ung record ko sa SSS.
gusto ko lang po sana malaman kung cnu po ba ang nararapat na tumanggap ng death claim...ung nakalagay ba sa beneficiary o ung kinakasa na hnd naman nkalagay sa benifiary sana mabigyan nyo po ng linaw ang hinaing ko po... its almost 3months na pro until now napakabagal po ng process....
