Yes, you can always apply for an ID anywhere because the SSS ID system after all only allows member ID application in branches where there is screen capture machine used to take pictures for ID application and Makati branch is one of the SSS branches that has that machine.
unfortunately, the screen capture machine in Makati got busted yesterday, Monday, July 20. sheesh. how many machines does SSS have now anyway? Q.C., San Juan and FTI branches only? and with the Makati Branch machine's busted, how can you accomodate the growing number of applicants when it can only entartain the first 100 applicants - EVERYDAY!

Of course you can get it straight from there. You have to bring though your valid ID (not expired) and you have to know which P.O. Box your company is in and the postman who delivers in the area where your company is located so you can approach him.

SSS Makati the one located in Gil Puyat wont allow just anyone to apply for an SSS ID. I would like to apply for our yaya and since she new here in Manila, I just brought her authorization letter. Unfortunately, sa information desk palang sinasala na nila. She asked me if san ako nagwowork. I told her Taguig, sabi nya I should go to FTI to process it. I dont even know where FTI is. Di nakakatulong ang SSS. The one I am processing is not related to my work but a personal application for the yaya of my baby. So I decided to ask my cousin to accompany yaya to SSS Makati Gil Puyat. Di pa rin daw pede dapat sa JP Rizal. Di pa ba computerized ang SSS para ipasapasa nila sa ibang branches ang mga tao? Buti pa ang Philhealth ang bilis. BTW, I dont like the girl in SSS Gil Puyat's helpdesk. Wla akong natanggap na HELP!
does SSS has daily quota on the number of ID applicants to process each day? SSS caloocan has a limit and because of the huge number of ID applicants, 9am pa lang hindi na sila tumatanggap ng forms for ID application.. ang gulo2 ng procedure nila.. we've been there 3 times na, we even came at 6am but nothing happened. the let the applicants in at 7am but nobody is in for the processing?? wats the point of letting us in if no one will assist us in our applications/inquiries/requests?

Hello po. ang pagpunta sa SSS Makati if you are coming from the LRT station is you take a ride sa ibaba po ng LRT with a jeep with signboard Guadalupe or Buendia highway. Tapos ask nyo sa driver na ibaba po kayo sa Employees Compensation Commission.

Just a piece of advice, do not give out your SSS ID # for security purposes. This site is not secured, so anyone can view whatever you post on this site. You would know if the site is secured when you see the letter "s" at the end of http. BTW, for those who wanted to know their employer ID, you have to call your employer about it. They would verify some info for security purposes before they give it to you.

Hi! ano po kaya magandang gawin ko? kasi nagwork ako ng lampas 1 month jn sa isang office sa makati, then ini-ignore ako ng office manager para sa last pay ko..ksama ung deductions sa SSS,pag-ibig,philhealth at income tax. ang masama nito wla pa naman ako form na nasusubmit sa kahit isa pero ayaw nila ibigay ung mga na deduct at last pay.
hindi din sila nagbibigay ng payslip.. ung unang sweldo ko after 3 days pa ng pangungulit ko saka binigay.ung 2nd wla payslip.

I was to apply my SSS ID at Frisco Branch, Friday - July 18,2011 around 11 am but wasn't allowed by the Assistant because He said i wasn't suppose to pay my SSS contribution as VM because "Hindi daw po ako employado!!! at itigil ko na daw ang pagbayad at hindi na daw credited ung binayad ko mula march 2011 to june 2011 worth Php 1,040/month !!!!. " Sinabi ko na nagwork po ako for 1 year and 2 months but the case is my employer didn't pay my SSS. " The problem now is that the previous company that I worked for has been closed since 2007.
Would it be possible for me to just apply for RS-1 as self-employed? Will my contribution from march 2011 to june 2011 be credited if i apply for RS -1? Also, Will I'll be allowed to Apply for an SSS ID card?

You just have to ask you HR Department for your Employer SSS ID number, it's easy breezy to register.
